I hate bad endings.
*WARNING* Hakuouki, La Corda, Full Moon Wo Sagashite, Fruits Basket..... basically a bunch of anime spoiler. FYI, this is a rant post.
Ok, so when you love something very much (in this case right now it would be an anime) and the ending completely sucks, what do you do?
Me? What I did was post a hate review on Crunchyroll. Start a hate forum post on Crunchyroll. Update me status a billion times about how much I hated the series. And then I tweeted about my anger and hate a billion times more. Yeah, very scary.
When Haruhi S ended with her sticking her tongue out, I was pissed. But then the creators made a 2nd "sorta" season and a movie, and there's the manga. So my pissedness wore off.
When Full Moon W S anime finished, um I was very very pissed. But then I read the manga and everything was better.
When Ouran ended, same thing as Full Moon. Was pissed, then read the manga.
Same goes for La Corda, Fruits Basket and so many more animes that it's crazy. But I think that half my anger came from my sadness that the series had ended... But my point is that my pissedness wore off.
It's been about 2 or 3 days since I saw the last episode of Hakuouki Hekketsurouku.
*SPOILERS NOW*
Okay, if you have no idea what I'm talking about and want to know, here it is. Basically thru a whole series of events a girl ends up living with a group of samurai called the Shisengumi. That was the first season. The 2nd season (Hekketsurouku) is basically about everyone in the Shisengumi DYING! Maybe about the last 5 or so epsiodes of the season, everyone was slowly killed off, except for the girl (Chizuru) and her main love interest (Hijikata). Now, this series is based of a dating sim, and the story between her and Hijikata is that they have a happy ending.
See picture as proof.
So the fangirls were not worried about Hijikata dying and were like, "Ok, last episode is gonna be happy." Instead, the creators of the series decided they wanted to die and they (to all the fangirls) KILLED HIJIKATA! Yes, he died in about 0.5 seconds and 0.5 seconds later, the anime ended. I was left completely speechless... and then I went and puked all my hate on the internet. Yeah and I am still very very pissed up til now. I have a feeling that everytime I think about this anime, I am going to be furious. The creators basically have a death wish, because once the whole episode is subbed for everyone, the fangirls are going to rile. And I will be leading them.

Living Dead Girl - Elizabeth Scott Review
The Truth Hurts.
That one sentence basically sums up this book. Everybody looks at the world and sees themselves. Admit it, it's true. Do we stop and notice those around us?
This book is about a girl who is abducted. Pretty much it.
Even though that doesn't sound like a promising book, um well, it is a promising book. It's actually so much more. It's deep, it's powerful, moving, full of emotion. I like to read a book straight through if at all possible. I had to literally put this book down and gather up the courage to pick it back up again. Some force was driving me to read it, and that's how powerful this book is. It is so overwhelming that it's not even funny. I will say that this book did not make me cry. Why? Because it drove me past the point of tears. My emotions felt like they were put in a blender.
I can't really say too much about this book except READ IT. Also know that this book is not for the light-hearted. It does contain mature themes (being rape, physical abuse, and the all-basic truth). Highly recommended. Five Stars.

Eureka! (Maybe spoilers?)
I just realized something that is completely and utterly random. It's about the book Sunday's at Tiffany's and my realization on why I picked up this book.
Have you ever read or watched the manga/anime Skip Beat? Yes, no? Anyway Kyoko has a childhood friend who she meets up with for a few days before he disappears and says they'll never see her again. Well obviously Kyoko runs into her childhood friend later in life. And oh, she thinks her childhood friend is a fairy and she also has an uncaring mother... Yeah, where am I going with this? James Patterson's book Sundays At Tiffany's is about a girl who has an imaginary childhood friend she meets up with until he disappears and says he'll never see her again (sound familiar) she does later on in life. Oh, and she has an uncaring mother.
Ok, so I had no idea whatsoever on why I wanted to read this book. When I heard the review something was nagging at the back of my head so I went and bought it. About 3 months after I bought it (and am now just reading it) I realize that I picked this book up subconsciously because it reminds me of my favorite manga Skip Beat. So, my point? If you love Skip Beat and want to read a book that is similar, read Sunday's At Tiffany's. And if you love Sunday's At Tiffany's and want to read a manga, get Skip Beat. Yep. But those might be the only similarities... I'll keep reading and update as I go along.

Book Haul No. 2
Yeah, blogging for me is becoming a no-no. Why? Answer is school. Yeah, typical, cliche excuse. But I am a freshman that just transferred into school 2 weeks late. Crap. Anyway I did finish one book, and that was Halo by Alexandra Adornetto. Look for a review on that later. Here's what I got this week.
Sunday's At Tiffany's - James Patterson I really loved Breakfast At Tiffany's, so the title of this book drew me in like a moth to a flame. (Was that the right expression?) Anyway, the plot of the book looked amazing, so I got it.
Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys - Kate Brian Megan Meade moves into a house filled with 7 boys. That alone drew me in instantly.
Juliet - Anne Fortier I think this is an adult book. Whatever, I'll skip the smut part if there is one. I always try to get the books that have Romeo and Juliet directly involved. There really aren't that many. There are: Saving Juliet - ?, The Juliet Club - ?, and O, Juliet - ? Yeah, I'm bad with author names. But this looked good and it was 30% off at Barnes and Noble. So I was like, aw just get it.
Paranormalcy - Kiersten White
Jellicoe Road - Melina Marchetta
Looking for Alaska - John Green
The Candy Shop Wars - Brandon Mull
Halo - Alexandra Adornetto
Twenty Boy Summer - Sarah Ockler
Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare
5 People You Meet In Heaven - Mitch Albom
